Reflections & Highlights from the Month!

Hello friends!

It feels a bit ironic that the first equal payday of the year also coincides with Women’s History Month. 9to5 has been fighting for over 50 years to close the gender wage gap, but it still persists, showing up across all jobs, geography, and education levels. While we have made strides in bringing more equitable and transparent pay to many, there is still work to be done to ensure pay equity.

For the first Equal Pay Day of the year, please join us in calling on Congress to pass the Paycheck Fairness Act. The Paycheck Fairness Act can help close the pay gap by empowering workers to discuss pay, making wage discrimination illegal, and giving solutions to workers who have been harmed by the racist and sexist discrimination that fuels the pay gap.

Together, we can make our voices heard and make sure that no matter where we work, who we love, or what we look like, we’re paid equally for equal work.
