Hi Friend,
We are in the thick of legislative session at the state and federal level and our teams are working tirelessly to advocate for policies that put people first.
In Colorado we continue to fight for stronger renters rights, climate justice, and to ensure water quality for residents while at the same time our Wisconsin chapter continues to push for inclusive and accessible paid leave for all working families. In Georgia we are fighting for a slew of policies that are part of our Well Woman’s Agenda – including strong workplace protections against harassment and discrimination. At the federal level, we’ve joined with partner organizations across the country in support of the Women’s Health Protection Act, because reproductive rights is an economic justice issue.
We- working women of color and our families- have the momentum to make big changes in our communities. We continue to fight for a better today and tomorrow and are so honored to have you alongside us in this journey.

Georgia
Earlier this month 9to5 Georgia brought 75 advocates from 24 towns and cities across Georgia to the state capitol to advocate for the Working Woman’s Agenda. Read more about the issues they advocated for and see photos of the lobby day!

9to5 Colorado is advocating for a For Cause Eviction law which would ensure no one is left stranded by unjust evictions. The bill has passed in the Colorado House and is now being introduced to the Senate.
