Christina is a daughter of refugees, mother, first-gen Hmong American, and activist, whose personal mission is to advance social justice. She actively works to build collective power and leadership through a gender and racial justice lens and has a track record of championing civic engagement, grassroots organizing in electoral and issue-based campaigns, and nonprofit administration.
Grounded in her upbringing in systemic poverty, she believes that those most impacted by the issues should be part of finding the solutions. Her lifelong passion lies in building community and finding courageous solutions to lift oppressed communities out of cycles of injustice.
She is the current chair of the Wisconsin Care Coalition, steering member of the Dignity at Work Coalition; member of the Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Coalition of Wisconsin, appointed member of the City of Green Bay’s Hmong Advisory Council; former board member of Hmong American Partnership and Colorbold Business Association, former member of the ESTHER Immigration Task Force and National Association of Social Workers-Wisconsin Legislative and Social Policy Committee.
