9to5 Georgia recently conducted a poll to assess the lived reality of women of color voters across Georgia. We wanted to know what issues are a priority for folks and approval ratings for governor, state legislature, and Congressional delegation. In addition, the polling questions asked how the voters feel their interests are/aren’t represented and how COVID recovery is going for them (economic stability and employment status, housing security, income and wages, industry and occupation, unemployment benefits).
On September 29, we will be hosting a fireside chat with member leaders to go over the survey results and lead a discussion around how these key issue areas impact what voters focus on when they cast their ballots. Be sure to join us!
