Join us for an information session about the Affordable Care Act (aka ObamaCare)! 9to5 Atlanta member, Renitta Shannon, is a contracted Humana agent, certified in the ACA plan and will lead the session. Afterwards, she’ll also be available to help you get signed up! This will be an informal and safe space for you to ask any questions you may have about health insurance.
Have family members, friends, or neighbors who aren’t insured? Invite them! Everyone is welcome.
We’ll also be talking about the Family Care Act, a bill here in Georgia that would allow an employee to use their earned sick time to care for a child, spouse, or parent. Everyone should have access to health insurance and the ability to use earned sick time to care for family members.
