Data released in September by the Census Bureau show poverty remains stubbornly and unacceptably high, and too many Americans are struggling to pay their rent and feed their families. Wisconsin 9 to 5 recently released a report focused on poverty in Wisconsin, in partnership with the Coalition on Human Needs.

Unfortunately, Congress’s stop-gap spending measure will put harmful cuts known as sequestration in place and push the fight concerning funding levels for critical human needs programs to this fall. We must push Congress to end these cuts and invest in needed, proven programs, and sharing this report is an important step.

See the report here, then share infographics widely.
