Allison is currently based in Atlanta by way of Memphis where she did statewide advocacy and grassroots organizing for almost 20 years. She was most recently the State Director of a sexual health and reproductive freedom coalition in Tennessee, and also was a founding member of the Memphis chapter of SURJ (Showing Up for Racial Justice). Allison is now the Policy and Training Manager with the Georgia chapter of 9to5, National Association of Working Women, where she supports 9to5’s people-centered policy agenda, as well as coordinates and facilitates economic justice and worker rights trainings for staff, members and community allies. She’s also a mother of 3 humans and 1 dog and is partnered with a wonderful fellow lifelong seeker of justice.
