The Supreme Court upheld Michigan’s Proposal 2 by a 6-2 vote this week. Proposal 2, passed in 2006, codified discrimination by creating two separate and unequal systems for determining admission criteria at colleges and universities.
On Equal Pay Day, recognized this year on April 8, 9to5 members across the country took action to protest the gender wage gap. Several hundred 9to5 members made their voices heard as they demanded pay equality regardless of gender and race!
9to5 will be partnering with ArtWorks to host a relief printing peace symbol activity. You are invited to participate in printmaking by choosing a peace symbol that ArtWorks interns have created. You will also have the opportunity to create your own peace symbol and reproduce it using printmaking techniques.
