Last year One Billion Rising brought together 93 arts, civic, and politically-minded organizations from Georgia to promote proposed state legislation that would benefit women and girls.  7,000 people sang and danced in a community-building flash mob all over Atlanta.

Join One Billion Rising this year on February 14th. Come listen to inspiring speakers and dance together as one billion rise for justice. The event will begin at Ebenezer Baptist Church, then march to Grant Park, where thousands of people will participate in a flashmob!

RISE & SING
Time: 10:00- 11:30 a.m.

Place: Historic Ebenezer Baptist Church

Come listen to engaging speakers like Bernice King, Andrew Young, leaders from WAND and the Carter, and many more! There will also be musicians from around the world there to lead us in song. 

RELEASE & SING
Time: 11:30 a.m. -12:15 p.m.

Place: Marching from Ebenezer Baptist Church to Grant Park.

After hearing from amazing speakers, join in the march to Stop Human Trafficking! The march will begin at Ebenezer Baptist Church and proceed to Grant Park. Be sure to create your own Stop Violence sign!

DANCE & SING
Time:12:15- 3:00 p.m.

Place: Grant Park

Students from the Global Village Project, a school for teenage refugee girls from Afghanistan, Burma, Congo, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Iraq, Somalia, and Central African Republic, will lead us in song. At 12:45pm, the flashmob will begin!
