2024 Georgia Voter Guide on Early Childhood
  • Caring Across Generations Voter Guide

“Every elections is determined by the people who show up!” Civic engagement is the platform that every citizen has the right to make the choice about who will represent their community and their issues. Georgia voting rights have been under attack and 9to5’s Georgia Chapter continue to be on the forefront in the fight with our voter registration and Get Out The Vote campaigns. As table partner with ProGeorgia and a member of the Georgia Redistricting Alliance, 9to5’s civic engagement groups includes Rights Restoration, which includes restoring voting rights for formerly incarcerated individuals, Election Protection, and Youth workgroup. Over the years we have held trainings and education opportunities on civic education, redistristricting and partnered with organizations with ProGeorgia with the GoVoteAdocacy Tours, National Voter Registration Day, and the WNBA just to name a few. The civic engagement team of canvassers are there in the community to make sure every voice is heard.

MSNBC Films presents “Battleground Georgia,” the latest installment of “The Turning Point” documentary series from Executive Producer Trevor Noah. The film breaks down the complex history of voting across the South and how Georgia came to lead the charge in this pivotal political moment. Watch “Battleground Georgia” Sunday, May 19th at 9pm ET on MSNBC. “Battleground Georgia” is a production from MSNBC Films, TIME Studios, Day Zero Productions, Sugar23, Mainstay, and Dare She Enterprises.
