Hi Friend ,

Last week, we celebrated National Voter Registration Day, a reminder of how powerful our vote truly is. Since the beginning of this country, there have been efforts to silence our voices, but that only proves how much they fear the impact we make when we show up for what we believe in.

Our voices need to be heard—on the streets, at the polls, and anywhere decisions are made. So, are you ready to vote? Have you

checked your registration, learned who’s on your ballot, and found your polling location? You can find everything you need to be election-ready at 9to5.org/govote

Spotlight

In every election, we must vote our values and elect leaders who will fight for policies that support working women and nonbinary people of color and our families. With so much at stake in every election, we must evaluate candidates carefully to ensure they align with our priorities. Our new Voting Your Values guide will help you assess candidates on key issues affecting working women and families.

9to5 Georgia attended the last stop of the Care Can’t Wait bus tour. Take a peak inside the event with this article.

Abortion has huge financial consequences in a woman’s life — and in the economy

We’ve always said restrictions on abortion are devastating for working women of color and their families and are a disaster for our economic freedom.

Care Is About Democracy

Championing care policies not only supports families, it also advances democracy. Because of that, care has become a top concern among voters and a unifier across gender, race, and party identification.

The REAL Reason You Can’t Afford a House

Big investors bought more than one in every four single family homes sold nationwide. It’s wrecking the housing market, driving up rents, and making it nearly impossible for working people to afford to buy a home.
