9to5 Wisconsin is excited to highlight this year’s Community Justice Apprenticeship Program interns! Take a look below to learn more about them.

HARRIETTE RICHARDS

Hi. I, Harriette Richards, love my Community. I am giving my all. Everything that I have belongs to my Community. I am just a natural being having a spiritual experience. I, Harriette, come to 9to5 as boldly as I know how. I am asking for Social Justice. I am not as smart as I could be and I am not as sharp minded as I want to be. But I am not a friend of this world. I am a GOD fearing individual and I have my Community’s back.

TAMIKA MARABLE

I am currently a special education teacher at St. Marcus Lutheran School. In the fall I will be transitioning to a 4th grade lead classroom teacher. My work experience includes but is not limited to working with CfUT (Center for Urban Teaching) as a classroom director for two years, which peaked my interest to become part of their educational leadership program. I served as a Summer school leader for the first time last summer and am now enrolled at WLC to obtain my administration licensing.

I have a Masters degree in Urban Special Education and a Masters in Business Management, both from Cardinal Stritch University. My bachelors degree is in human services with a criminal justice concentration from Springfield College. I am the founder of a non profit organization, Sisters Too, Inc. which exists to raise awareness on water safety and drowning prevention, with an emphasis on young women and girls mentorship programming.

In my spare time I enjoy competing in pageants, attending and judging pageants and everything in between related to pageants. I have been married to my supportive husband for almost 11 years in August and have two biological children ages 16 and 6.

I am looking forward to learning from this CJAP experience and gaining meaningful insights and strategies related to community justice.
