Will you be a part of #9to5united?
We’re highlighting two hallmark dates in January as opportunities to gather with others in your community and take a stand for economic, racial and gender justice.
MLK Day, celebrated on Monday, January 16th, is an opportunity to honor the legacy of Dr. King and continue his work to resist racism and state violence.
On Saturday, January 21, the Women’s March on Washington and its sister marches around the country will lift up demands for safety, dignity, and economic security for women.
Stand united with 9to5 from your city or town:
- Use this site or contact firstname.lastname@example.org for help finding an MLK Day event or Women’s March in your area. We can’t vouch for every event around the country, but are happy to help you look into options near you.
- Help represent 9to5 by wearing a 9to5 sticker and sharing our voter guide with anyone who’s interested. Contact email@example.com to get some sent to you.
- At the event, post a picture to Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter with the hashtag #9to5united.
Join 9to5 in demanding an end to all attacks on women, including police violence, domestic violence, workplace sexual harassment and discrimination, and threats to families through incarceration, deportation, and cuts to our safety net programs and health care. In cities and towns across the country, 9to5 is united through our action.
