To honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s legacy of working for peace and justice 9to5 Wisconsin will be showing support for this year’s Justice Program and March!

Indoor programming begins at 1:00 PM with performances by the All People’s Choir, Dorothy Jackson, DiMonte Henning – Lights, Camera, Soul. The event will also be honoring leading community groups: Overpass Light Brigade, ACLU Youth Group, and the African American Women’s Center, with special recognition of esteemed community elder Vel Phillips.

The March to the Dr. King Statue will begin at 2:30 gathering on M.L. King Drive, 1 block north of Walnut. There community members will have a chance to share reflections on Dr. King’s message via an open microphone.
