Our 9to5 Bay Area chapter was organized in 1999. Our Los Angeles chapter organized in 2006. We’re fighting discrimination and harassment and advocating paid sick days, equal pay, immigrant rights, and general rights & respect in the workplace.

9to5 California Retreat

We have reserved a large group campsite in this beautiful mpuntain camp.  There is room for everyone, young and old alike.  Chapter leaders and their families, from Los Angeles and San Jose areas,  will have time for evaluating our past year, planning our upcoming year, and getting to relax together.  The river we camp on has swimming and fishing; we'll have campfire singing and storytelling.  Bring a tent and food for the grill!  RSVP to cathyd [at] 9to5 [dot] org.

9to5 California Retreat

RSVP to 213-201-7029 and for more information on exact group campsite reservation.  Bring camping gear, tent, sleeping blankets, swim suits, fishing rods, musical instruments, bug spray and hiking shoes.  AND kids!  Site is near river with swimming holes.  Bring food for grill.  Bring voices for campfire singing.  This is our ANNIVERSARY RETREAT - a combined event with both California 9to5 chapters. 

Stop the Cuts Rally and March

Gather at 5 PM, Rally and Press Conference at 6:00 PM, Followed by March to State Building, Governor's Office, 300 S. Spring.

California is OUR state.  If you or someone you know is going to be impacted by the state budget cuts, bring their picture and story to send a message to the Governor and the Federal government.  Cuts now proposed include IHSS, HIV/AIDS Prevention, PACT, CalWORKs, Healthy Families (Children's Insurance), SSI, Food Assistance, Medi-cal.  Stand up for CA budget reform with progressive taxes.  STOP THE CUTS!
