Schwarzenegger Wins Award for Worst Governor

Governor Schwarzenegger WINS BIG - the 2010 Award for Worst Governor.  On the day he released his state budget proposal, the Stop the Cuts Coalition and several 9to5 Members demonstrated on Hollywood Blvd. in Los Angeles in front of the famous Wax Museum, and by the sidewalk "star" honoring the former terminator. 

Signs show the impact of his proposed budget cuts on the most vulnerable of our state's citizens.  His Award posts the following highlights:

• Largest Budget Deficit in History of California - 21 Billion
• Eliminated AIDS/HIV Programs
• Eliminated Domestic Violence Shelters
• Cost 30,000 Children to lost CalWORKS cash aid
• Cost 3 Million Californians to lose dental benefits
• Raised CA State University tuitions by over 30% and reduced enrollment by 40,000 students
