Local Chapters
9to5 is a national organization that includes the following local chapters:
- 9to5 Atlanta was founded in 1983 with a mission to improve the workplace for women and strengthen the ability of low-wage women in Georgia to win economic justice.
- 9to5 California includes the Bay Area chapter, founded in 1999, and the Los Angeles chapter, founded in 2006. 9to5 California fights discrimination and harassment and advocates for paid sick days, equal pay, immigrant rights, and general rights & respect in the workplace.
- 9to5 Colorado was founded in 1996 and is dedicated to the issues that directly affect women in the workplace. 9to5 Colorado works to involve women in improving policies addressing pay equity, work/family issues, sexual harassment, discrimination, welfare, unemployment and protections for temporary and part-time workers.
- 9to5 Milwaukee has been instrumental in policy changes on issues affecting low-wage women for over two decades. 9to5 Milwaukee is a grassroots membership organization made up of low-income women, women transitioning from welfare to work, and women who have experienced discrimination or harassment on the job.
